Managed to get some good painting done yesterday and have really progressed with the Domaru Butai. The base is now pretty much complete, apart from some weathering and maybe some freehand Japanese numbers on the outside.
I absolutely love it. The only comment I have is that the shading on the monitor screen is much deeper than on the rest of the background. Or is the figure casting a shadow there?
The monitor is meant to be a dark grey, with the wall a light grey... but I agree it looks too similar in these pics - will have to do something about that!
I'll definitely keep posting - I am looking forward to finishing him as its been a lot of fun to paint :)
