Forsaken Princess for Ax Faction

Not many WIP photos recently, I know, but that doesn't mean I've not been painting. I've actually been doing a commission piece for a fairly new British miniature company called Ax Faction. (She is now available to purchase...)

This one is a Witch Hunter called the 'Forsaken Princess'. The colour choices were straight from the concept artwork that Ax sent me, and at first I was a little daunted by the white, but I think she's turned out ok.

She was a lot of fun to paint, and I am particularly pleased with how the sheer veil cam out. I also thought the 'snivelling witch' on her base was a really nice touch.

There is a slight textural anomaly beneath one of her eyes in the close up shot, but I am really struggling to see it with the naked eye, so am a little too scared to try and remove it. Hopefully it doesn't spoil the piece too much - I considered not showing that photo, but thought that might almost be cheating!

Here are some photos on a black background (which I really struggled with for some reason). I will try and get some on my usual blue-white as my camera always seems to have a better time of it.
